What is KTM Komuter?

KTM Komuter is the first electrified commuter train service in Malaysia. It was introduced in 1995 that provides suburban railway services covering city centers and suburban areas. It is a popular mode of transport for the people in the Klang Valley to commute to Kuala Lumpur. Passengers can rest in the comfort coaches while being taken to their destinations at a very reasonable fares.

What is the frequency of all KTM Komuter trains?

The frequency of all commuter trains is every 30 minute during off peak. During peak hours certain high density routes would have 15 minutes waiting time for the train. The areas with 15 minute interval during rush hours are Sungai Buloh - Bangi & Klang - Putra routes only.

Are feeder buses & taxis available at the stations?

All major stations provide feeder buses & taxis. However, we would advise passengers to use taxi services as some stations do not have feeder bus services.

What is the time duration by taking the KTM Komuter train from Seremban, Pelabuhan Klang and Rawang to Kuala Lumpur?

From Seremban to Kuala Lumpur, approximately 1 hour and 20 minutes.
From Pelabuhan Klang to Kuala Lumpur, approximately 1 hour and 15 minutes.
From Rawang to Kuala Lumpur, approximately 50 minutes.
From Batu Caves to Kuala Lumpur, approximately 26 minutes.

Does KTM Komuter have interchange stations linking to other rail operators?

Yes, KTM Komuter has access to station bus, RapidKL, KL Monorail & ERL. Interchange stations are:
( 1 ) KL Sentral for RapidKL Kelana Jaya Line/KL Monorail/ERL.
( 2 ) Bandar Tasik Selatan for RapidKL Ampang Line/ERL/TBS-BTS.
( 3 ) Bank Negara for RapidKL Ampang Line.
By using KTM Komuter, passengers would have better and convenient access to perform their shopping, official matters sightseeing etc.
